http://www.planetmule.com/forum?topic=912.msg4664#msg4664While doing other testings in single player training, I got more of the same.
I started a game, played first turn, took note of the plots that had an assay done (by both player and the A.I.) and then I disconnected.
Starting a new training match, the AI grabs some of those plots with an assay done. Not a surprise, they have 2 crystite units each. More assays are done, taking note. Disconnecting.
Starting another game. Each plot with assay done in previous games remains revealed to the AI, like those games using "Fog of War", once you reveal the area it will be displayed forever showing its changes. So they know the crystite ammount on each one. (The ammount changed between games, the location of high plots changed too, as it is expected to do.) Each of the AI players got a high crystite plot and started exploiting it in the very first turn.
Reading a bit about the program itself, that flag is set as
null when starting the game. But unless you close and re-open the program, that flag remains as "revealed" for the AI once any player does an assay on those plots, thus they have no need of any further assay in new games.
