This is just a minor aesthetic problem, no effect on gameplay. I already saw a similar one, but it is not because of the plot being located on the left: http://www.planetmule.com/forum?topic=89.0

If you happen to have a meteor simpact twice in the same game (doesn't happen too often), the second time the animation is not played. The plot is simply changed into the crater one as soon as the event occurs (even before the sound effect is over), but no meteor can be seen falling down. Unknown if the same thing happens a third time in the same game. Tongue

Thanks for the report. I couldn't reproduce the bug described in http://www.planetmule.com/forum?topic=89.0 so I left it as unresolved. Now thinking about it, it seems plausible that a metoerite striking the same plot twice can result in this problem. We will adjust this in future versions.

I can confirm that I have seen this bug in past. I can't tell you the exact game, but I am sure it was definitely not the same spot the meteorite strikes and the animation was not played.

I can also confirm this.  Anytime there's two meteorite strikes in a single game, the second strike has no animation.  I've seen it play out this way many times.

I don't know about any case with a meteor strike in exactly the same plot, if it can only fall into non-river plots with no crystite or crystite1 or 2, I supposse that it will not fall into mountains nor a crystite4 plot. But I guess you can easily check the script in case it might happen. (Because the chances of a meteor hitting the same plot are too low to check in games. Tongue)

The point is, when more than a meteor strike happens in the same game, no matter which plot, no matter the players or AI who has the plot (or unowned), no matter the location, only the first time the meteor itself appears. Any further round, the new plot having the meteor impact is changed into a crystite4 plot with the crater graphic as soon as the event happens, but the meteor is not seen like in the previous one.

* EDITED to explain the last part slightly better.
** EDITED to correct the mountains info. It can hit a mountain plot and destroy them.

I have seen this bug through out many games with multiple meteorite hits.  No never the same plot twice, but it can hit mountains.  Second strike is almost always without animation when this happens.  I never bothered to care about it because it hasn't effected the game in a way that bothered me.
