Meteorite Strike Colateral Damage.

Meteorite strike always make the one it hit a super high crystite. But what about the other plots around it? Up to 4 on the side, and up to 4 adjacent to the impact site. Why not make it a chance that the impact can deposit new Crystite on the other plots. the side can be medium to low.(very small chance of being a standard high) and the adjacent can be low's(very small chance of being a medium). Can range from all the plot around the site to none. Standard Crystite lay-out will not be used, all random. To make the new deposits any MULE's on the plot around the impact site will be DESTROYED just like in the Planetquake.  Or it just destroys your plot and you get nothing.

I have never seen the meteorite strike a river valley. why, the games starts with some river valley being high's.

I DON'T NEED NO STINKING BADGES!

The meteorite only strikes plots with no crystite not on the river.

Also, very often the original game would mysteriously report high crystite on all the river plots, even though they can't be mined.

I can't see why a high crystite deposit could not be located below the river. The only problem is that you can't mine it Smiley

Actually, not the case in this version.  A strike can (and does) often hit sites that already have crystite.  Happens all the time.

It can hit a zero, one, or two spot, but not a three spot.

Idea: If a mountain moves in a quake, from a higher crysite spot to a lower crysite spot, maybe the value of those spots changes? (The moving mountain takes the crysite with it)

If it deposits crystite in other plots, it should damage the other plots as well.  Perhaps not completely destroying the MULEs there, but at least causing $$ damage in repairs and/or shutting them down for a turn, etc.

Meteor strikes could hit any plot that wasn't a high crystite plot or a river plot. The maximum number of meteor strikes that could occur in any game was three times. (rarely)

According to M.U.L.E. Event Statistics on the website http://www.smithore.com/eventstats.php, three meteor strikes were reported in 3 out of 1093 games.

The river would always report high crystite when assayed. Since you couldn't mine crystite on the river, this had no effect on the game. Actual high crystite deposits could be on the river though, with two mediums on both sides. I believe I played a game with no high crystite deposits a few times because of this. (I prefer it this way)

The store could also have a high crystite placed beneath it.
