In this game:
http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=22476

The price the store was offering for crystite was $104.  I owned no crystite, and only had $103 in cash, so I decided to be cute and try to push up to the buy line, knowing that it wouldn't work.  Well, it DID work... kind of.  My character moved up to the $104 line, same as what the store was offering.  And then, the bugginess started:

I could no longer back away from the $104 line.  And whenever other folks tried to sell to me, it make the "ching" sell noise, but nothing happened.  No money or goods changed hands, the noise just kept chinging.  And the timer kept still while people attempted to sell to me.  Since I couldn't move away, the only way to break out of this was for the crystite sellers to move back up, away from my buy line, so that the timer could run out.

So, a very annoying bug (for them!).  Later on in the game, both piete and I had network time outs and were disconnected, but I doubt that that's related.

Actually, depending on the nature of the time out, it could be related.  Sounds like maybe someone in the game had the newly discovered audio bug crop up, it causes FPS drops and odd happenings in the game for all players involved in the game that has system being affected by the new bug is in.  If that is the case, then identifying the system with the issue and asking that player to turn off their game sound should cure all odd stalls and sounds.  Admin is aware of this issue and trying to get to the bottom of it for the next version.

The game uses two types of sound, wav audio, and ogg audio.  From what I can tell, the bug crops up with the wav files on slower computers.  It's most noticed during plot selection, but does also effect other aspects of the game.

Refer to the following topic to see more about some of the noted effects of this audio bug seen by the users who are most effected...

Thanks for the report. We will work to correct this in the next release. Chuck: I don't think it is related to the sound issue though.
