i was playing a training game around 3 A.I.s

and i noticed one of them was able once to settle 3 mules on 3 lands and still be able to go to the pub to get around $150 with the timer bar half filled. I think there is a problem here. you can hardly settle 2 mules.

I had set "Do not show computer movement" and i think it is the problem here

Edit
may be it had plenty of food and time then. and i am wrong

3 mules and still have half your time left?

I think this is a result of "Do not show computer movement" turned on.  The AI gets the same amount of time, but does not have to walk any distance.

I've seen this in training games as well.

If the plots are very close to the store, it's very possible.

In v1.1 I believe I once saw the AI settle either 4 or 5 plots in one turn (had been abusing the smithore supply & no mules, plus he bought at auction).  But that was some time ago.

3 new mules no problem, if my plots are well I can change 6 plots! I think it's a bit too much compared to the original, I recall being able to change 4 at most. Now I have "trained" with C64 as a humanoid where 2 new mules is tight and changing 3 plots already very challenging!

So maybe there's room for some time adjustment here.

Yeah I dont think the AI appears to have better mobility than a skilled Human who has planned ahead; But the old game was tighter... also how about giving us back the house and the the mule placement over the door issue?!
