I have been getting this error for more than a week, under the new as well as the old version and on three different computers. What's going on? I am sure I've unblocked.

I'm having the same issue.  I've only tried it on one computer.  To the best of my knowledge my port(s) are open.  (I've even widened the range of ports) and still no go.  Cannot connect, reconnecting, repeat.

I guess the developers will have a hard time debugging this unless you provide log files... Check the topmost post in this forum, it explains what's needed.
