I think the C64 Also functioned this way if I remember correctly, you could capture the wampus more than once during your development turn and the price increased with each capture, $100, $200, $300. It seems on planetmule you can only capture him once per turn and the amount increases something like development 1-4 = $100, development 5-8 = $200, and development 9-12 = $300 (or something very close to this)
