To all, I will be leaving MULE for a while.  Maybe I am paranoid or whatever, but I have noticed that there are certain patterns that have been happening more and more in the game, and it has made me enjoy it less and less.  1) the amount of auctions is just ridiculous.  Talking with friends about the original Atari game in 1984, we remember you might be lucky of there were 6 auctions.  Now you can expect 6 by turn 3.  it throws off the game with that many plots owned so early.  2) It seems the game is favoring tite play more and more, thus making the game rather boring since its all about the tite swarm at tend.  I remember even here you could win with ore, food, or end if played right.  However the comp seems to adjust to when a player tries that (esp massive ore production and quake).  And that goes along with massive auctions since you don't have to trade for food or eng as much as in the old days since you probably will have a plot or two with those in it.  Also tite used to be spread around the board more.  It wasn't uncommon for High's to be at the borders.  Now tite is almost always centered around the middle.  3) The randomness is gone.  You can figure when a quake will happen.  You can figure when a pest will happen. You used ot be able to fig when a Pirate would happen but in order to help tite that seems to be reduced.

I wish you the best, but the game has lost its fun for me.

I think you just had a rough patch nj. I acknowledge there ARE patterns, but if you watch close they change weekly. Eg. the high tite clustering mid map. Ive seen this as of late, but recall the highs being outer edge quite a bit a month back. I believe these patterns cannot be tracked because they change slightly for every player and unless you are taking note, you just wont notice them. Also ive noticed in my many games played, that there are streaks. You could play your best game ever, but if you are on a losing streak that week the game will find  some f'd up way to make sure you lose buy a few dollars. The only remedy i can find for these two issues is to ride it out via many games. When you play more games you force the streak or pattern to run its course. (the streak theory doesnt apply to motorman as hes able to squash a losing streak within 3games rather than 1 week of many games)
Dont leave nj, without your crude mouth the community will name me the most crudest player. A trait I wish not to assume. I like to be thought as the most "thorn in your ass" type player. Another reason you dont want to leave the community is motorman, the kid looks up to you like a big brother. What kind of example does this send him, i mean hes already retired 3times. Really hope this doesnt send ole moto off the edge.
In closing, leaving mule wont change the patterns. Without mule in your life, stress levels could rise. While life does its best to beat us down, mule is our only sanctuary.

ps. Lets make NJ great again guys!
