race selection dilemma

just joined planet mule after being sick and tired of playing the c64 version on emulator  . made an account but now im stuck. personally, im terrible at making choices, and the fact that the race you choose is permanent is not helping much  . so, i would like to know: of all the races chosen by the known player base, which race is selected the LEAST?

Pretty sure it's the mechtron. 
Hard to say, but you can see for yourself by clicking on Player Ranks or Alltime-Scores and scrolling through a couple dozen pages.  That should give you a good feel for it.
