Has anyone here played Planet Steam (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/23094)?  It is supposed to be a boardgame equivalent to M.U.L.E.

My wife played it and rated it 8 out of 10. She described it on Boardgamegeek as very long but interesting not having played the computer version yet.  You can find more details on it on Boardgamegeek.com.

I haven't played it yet, but I do own it and have read the rules.  It was definitely "inspired" by mule and they seem to have done a good job capturing the essence of the game, but I won't really know how well it works until I get a chance to actually play.  Once I do I'll be sure to let you know what I think...  Smiley

I have found Planetmule over Planet Steam's Boardgamegeek forums. I own the game, but also haven't played it yet. Hopefully one day I will Smiley

It's a very (VERY) heavy game... and by that I mean that you probably need to be a hard-core game player to like this one.  It's almost literally like playing the computer game, except that you and your friends get to do all of the calculations.   Count on maybe 30-60 minutes learning the rules, and then 2-3 hours to play a game.

It's beautiful, but not my kind of thing.  I'd rather play M.U.L.E.
