Ranking Jubilee...

I don't think this will be a very popular idea--but hear me out.
At this point the top 25-30 spots are pretty locked down, it might be impossible for them to change.

I think it would be cool if perhaps once a year, or, every 3 months, or something all the ranks got recent making it possible for different people to carry and achieve to be number 1.  Now, perhaps we still keep the "lifetime" ranks so not to take away from the achievements of Rhodan, Gohar, and Brad etc.

Football wouldn't be interesting if the same team was always #1 because they factoring in the lifetime of the teams...

There does seem to be a good amount of volatility in the true rank ratings, which probably serves the purpose you mention to a certain extent. I think a lot more playees than we might imagine are not aware of them.

How about we do a clean-out, meaning we get the dev team to delete all accounts with no activity in 2-4yrs...that would free up about 13spots in the top 20.

There is no good reason to clean the slate.

One argument that might have some merit is to bundle smurfs together. No need for multiple deathmules and pappys.

I think the life time stats should stay in place...
I think having a monthly, or quarterly rank would make things a little more competitive is all.

Like an extension of the weekly medals?  Maybe 6 month or yearly medals too?
