I would love if we could set up a double elimination style mule tournament for like $5. We could do it through paypayl-- yes someone would have to be trustworthy not to steal all the money...

But, we play a game and the top two move on, bottom two get a cut-- two cuts and you're out.
We do a one time reset if a player is disconnect before round 4. otherwise thats the risk you take.

We can schedule the game times- might take some work but could be a fun weekend event.

Sounds like a great idea. Half the money goes to the winner, the other half can go to the Atari400 make a wish for a new keyboard foundation. Nordel Management enterprises would of course need a 10% override on the entire proceeds and in addition Nordel himself will require a $10,000 appearance fee if he were to play.

Now, after millions of dollars of foregone productivity, the true champions of mule will be rewarded with dozens of dollars. These are exciting times.

Now jagov, no need for for such sardonicism, we all know you are clever.

I like sjleader's idea. I think that some form of anonymity would be appropriate. If someone could program a tourney in such a way that every entrant was anonymous, that would greatly discourage collusion and other such undesirables.

I would gladly partake in such event.

Kudos to SJ for the initiative!

Interesting. I had not thought of players being anonymous.  I figured by keeping the price low the money wouldn't really be worth cheating over just a fun challenge.

I think the way to do is to randomize the matches.  And we would need people to host so we can have 4 or 5 games going at once on first day.

Sweet idea sj, im totally in...randomizing would be great too. There are a few duos on planet mule and id prob not want to join those games. Eg. jag/lenin, pappy/cyber. Who would set something like this up though?, not I. It would definitely bring more incentive to play mule for me.

I'm in,

'Thanks for your support and we hope despite M.U.L.E. being a no-cost website, we provide a robust and stable gaming experience.'

Maybe the winner of this prestigious event could donate the money to the cause and before every game each player must give thanks to their generous benefactor.

Imagine how awesome it would be to say a little speech in praise of deathmule, prior to every game.
