Author Topic: desynchronize error - players are on different turns and even games  (Read 453 times)

I tried playing Mule 2 with 2 accounts today to test something.

About round 3, the desynchronize error happened, and one of my players was on a totally different turn after it.

For example, one player saw the production screen, and the other player was still putting out mules.  

And then in the store phase, the same player had different production on both accounts.

For example, Acavia on Acavia screen made like 2 food.  But Acavia on Acvl's screen made 6 food.

Acavia on Acvl screen sold all 6 and had like $1500 at end of round.  Acavia on Acavia screen sold none of the 2 he made and had like $500 to end the turn.

Then the summary screen after the store phase ended, showed Acavia in Acavia screen to only have $500 in cash but on Acvl's screen, Acavia had $1500 in cash.

So desynchronize is creating totally different screens/games it seems.

You're quite right, after desync there is no guarantee things will work properly.

Did you by any chance happen to get the logs for your game, having logs from both your accounts would be really valuable to see exactly what happened. You can attach them to a forum post, or probably PM them to me... if not PM me and I'll give you my email.
