I played ( try to play ) at least 8 games with humans.
Beside the possible improvements of a Beta and some points i just personally dislike
i have to say the game base is simply crap. Just one game made it to rd 12 without totally chrashing
and the only one which got finished reached rd 12 with 3 AI bots.
The synchronisation is too instable to play via internet - maybe the beta works locally , but this is a no go.
Just a waste of time.
I wanted to give it a try but thanks - at least the basic stability needs to be present to call it a Beta
and to invest more time from my side.  Undecided

And you are submitting bug reports and logs of when it "crashes"? Because if you're not, we can't figure out what went wrong.

I'm personally only aware of one major bug, which is that the game can hang and just get stuck. Is that what happened in all your games? If so, which phases? When you quit the game, did it restart for other players? If other players quit, did the game ever restart for you?

Just saying "it crashed" is of zero help for us to fix the bug. We've actually tested quite a lot with the game running on the exact same server it is now, without this problem (or only very rare) - the whole point of this week is to find all the issues that happen in real life and gather data about them. So use the tips in this thread and please take the time to log your bugs, and especially if a game stalls, ask other players to do the same so we get multiple logs for the same game.

Hi John,

to be more detailed:  6 games reported a "desync" message for multiple players and the game did continue
in 5 of 6 cases until the next sale. During the sale it got stuck - even after several minutes and leaving
of players it did not continue. With more humans it seems to occurs sooner, with just one human it seems to be more stable and all games i played with 4 AI finished. I assume that the routine for player synchronization has a bug or is not handle to cover the lags between players . With players known to be overseas in one game it always crashed that way. I guess this needs to be fixed urgently, as no one wants to play 45min and get kicked out all the time. If the game runs stable for all to the end there are some other improvements and bug-fixes
for a real Beta.

Thanks for the info. For your information, there is a big difference between a game just stopping, and one where a desync message is reported - they mean quite different things technically. Telling us about this is really helpful - until now we though we were only seeing stall bugs not desync so now we know both are happening.

If you or anyone else see these things, PLEASE try to submit your logs because they contain really useful information. In fact MW2 you might still have your logs for all the games you played - see here for details where to look: http://www.planetmule.com/forum?topic=1974.0. If you don't have time or inclination to find which log is which, you could send ALL of your logs (maybe zip them up but it's no big deal). I would rather look through to find the ones with problems than have none at all.

Thanks again.
