Abandons

Watch out, you get abandons when game crashes and when you play all AI and do not finish.

For example, I already have 3 abandons:

Played solo with 4 AIs twice to learn game, quitting after round 1 and round 4, and got two abandons.

Played with 4 other players, game froze round 4 and we could not continue. We all left, and per game log, all five of us got abandons.

Where are the rankings?

Not sure.  I just clicked on my name because I won a game and appear on the front page.   I could find no way to check everyone.

Except for that game with you, haven't been able to finish another.

There is no penalty for getting abandons, this is only a beta. If you quit a game you are marked as abandoning it. If everyone quits the game is classed as abandoned. If you have suggestions how any of this should work please share them but I am not sure what the problem is when you abandon a game and it marks you as abandoned...

There is a bug where games are being marked as abandoned while they are still in-progress, but that's a separate issue, i.e. you can play all 12 rounds but it is marked as abandoned and not included in rankings/top-10. If a full 12 rounds have been played, this can be fixed later.

To see players and games, that's what the "Hi Scores" page is for.

A big problem I have with MULE 1, is sometimes someone gets booted for a variety of reasons.
I think when someone quits or is removed against their will, the game should pause for say 1 minutes.  Give players a chance to pop back in and resume before the past hour is lost and everyone suffers.

Being able to re-join would solve a lot of problems!
