Both times I tried MULE 2 it actually failed/froze, for a review all I can say is that I think the overall graphics are wonderful, and the new elements are intriguing. Land grab was a mess - I'm guessing that's fixable. I agree the 3d auctions probably not the most functional - But very cool looking. My impression was that it was too buggy to get a feel of what the game is really supposed to be like at this time, and for me the mixture of having to wait for a game on top of the likliehood of game failure was too  much. Maybe I'll help test at a scheduled time if someone wants to coordinate when there are 5 players ready to go.

I am in the camp of M.U.L.E. being a true classic, perhaps not to be messed with too much. But I'm still intrigued and want to support this effort as much as possible. I will say this (my 2 cents): Even if it's supposed to be rather different from MULE1 I hope there is at least ONE PERSON on the MULE2 team that REALLY understands the nuance of original MULE, someone who has played many many games - not saying it should be same as original but I think this is important. There are plenty of strategy/development games out there but MULE is really special. It's not just nostalgia I SWEAR!! Wink
