The last 3 or 4 games I keep getting disconnected.
I was in different places so its not my home connection thats the issue.
Anyway, I didn't want y'all to think I was quitting (although twice I felt I was poised for a win)

I really wish there could be a way to change the code so that if you get disconnected you can gave a 3 or 4 minute window to come back and take over for the AI that replaced you.  Especially when you put 45 minutes into a game.

Anyway, sorry y'all.

Yeah, they need to come up with a method of reconnection via log in name.  Be able to tell the game engine to update the IP address for a player mid game.  That would take some extra programming though.  Since this is a voluntary effort by Turborilla, which does write games for money, it's not likely they will put much more effort into fixes for a while.

playing tonight, sjl got disconnected around the 5th and my connection followed in the 7th.

Google waits until the 12 round, sees that he will lose to bots, and then restarts. Classy gentleman! Im not sure even Acavia would pull a stunt like that these days. Worse, instead of admitting that he didnt want to lose to a bot, he starts saying he didnt know restarting the game would cause it to restart.

I now see what Rhodan has been saying all along about being selective with whom you play.

I've had Acavia do that to me.  So Google does it too, good to know!  Same claim too, must have missed the fight!  The bot gives a warning how many votes it requires.

Right, but for the record, I am not quitting.
Its really annoying to put 30 min to a game and then have "network difficulties"
I dont see how it would be complex to change the login situation so that when you are disconnected you are given say 2 minutes to re connected and join back.

i AGREE WITH SJ   AND SAW GOOGLE PULL THAT BULLSHIT  HE DENIED IT FOR 5 MINS  THEN ADMITTED HE DID NOT WANT TO LOOSE TO A BOT
I WAS NOT IN THE GAME BUT SAW ALL THE LOBBY CHAT...HE DID ADMIT HE QUIT/RESTARTED ON PURPOSE
