Hello,

I'm trying to play on a win7 x64 machine, drivers up to date, planetmule 1.3.4, music working.

Everything works until I try to start a new game. (both online and offline) the game crash with this message:

"java.net.SocketException: Resource temporarily unavailable: getsockname"

any idea?

There is a few things to try:

1)re-install mule

2)re-install java

3)if u have outdated java6 may want to install java7

4)your computer may be to old to support mule

Being as you are running Win7 64x, the last suggestion about an old machine seems very unlikely, but it does sound like a networking issue.  Perhaps you have an unusual configuration in your protocols, or you have a software firewall creating an issue with the game or Java's networking configuration?  Even running local, Java needs access to the firewall and if it's being blocked it could be locking out the resources Java needs to function correctly.  Mule does some socket configuration even in local mode to function on an internal LAN without a server.

Sorry for the long delay before the answer...

My issue is definitely network-related... Sadly I cannot change anything relating my connection configuration...

regards!
