That's because losing sucks!!! Seriously though. Thanks for all the great drama. I feel both sides pain....I remember when i had about 30 games under my belt and ended up having a terrible start where i was food starved for 8 rounds....It is pretty damn boring... I even threatened to quit at 1 point i think. But forcing 3 people to listen to the mule music while trying to stay attentive in case you click for 30 minutes is a fate i would not wish on my worst mule enemies  Judgement Plaintiff Null you have been found guilty of falling asleep during a hosted game of Mule. You won't get screwed the entire game if you first buy a food plot and then an energy plot. That's conservative play, but you won't be put out of the game anytime soon.

Hey dyna, I hold the pm record for most rds in last with no events(10rds) (and only 1 plot filled till rd.11)...i couldnt even threaten to quit as i was hosting...and not a scrap of food sold to me till rd.11(gee thx for the food NOW rodz). I guess waiting an hr for game to continue is worse...but theres always the sound "off" button, no?
@ mt.wamp, you talk about "sensitivity" on planet mule? lol...well whos mr.sensitive when theres talk about rank/or changes to rank system in forum?... Let me quote 1 of em - "WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THE RANKS?! I DONT, JUST PLAY MULE FOR THE FUN OF IT"!!

Not true. A decent example is one I just got out of. 1 auction 1st round. Bought for 972 leaving 26$ left. Put out one food plot. Didnt produce. No bonuses for 4 more rounds. Last place. No food for wampus. Took about 6 7 rounds to get enough food and money to barely get plots filled. By round 11, I found myself with 1 less plot working. The first round really can effect the whole game for ya if you're not careful. Most cases, it's just the luck of the draw. I've come out of that with flying colors before and I've been buried by the same thing. Just depends on what happens. In the case of the OP, it wasnt anything to do with having enough money. It was 3 players taking all goods from stores when none of them needed any of it. It was done on purpose. *shrugs* if thats how they want to play, no biggie. I'll be sure to return the favor, and I have done simiar things to people who were far ahead. Doesnt matter who you are, no one likes that tactic. It just looks even more crappy when you do it to someone from the very first round, with the exception of your "buddies" who are playing with ya. But hey, thats the way it is. btw, with the music bug the way it is after a game, I have sat listening to the theme music for more than an hour. If they really thought someone was gonna come back after being gone for a half an hour with no word, lol... This is just silly. The fact that some of these guys stayed in for nearly 12 hours is laughable. Sorry, I dont take games that damn serious. If you stayed in that long, in hopes to finish a lost game (after all only one person was winning.. the one originaly crying about it) then you seriously need to get out more. |

lol. Didnt rodz get mad last night because that happened to him? Could have sworn he said, while hosting "If another game happens like this I will quit it". I think people take their wins really seriously... Too seriously. When those people are on the bottom for a change, they get bent out of shape. Yet when those tactics are done to say... someone like me.. the nobody.. It's perfectly ok. lol You gotta love hipocracy. |

You don't have to buy land in the first auction. When a player does this, they know they are taking a chance of having no food, no energy and no way to buy either. Purchasing land in the first round is a calculated risk to try and jump out fast. It can severely screw you more often than not. That's just my two cents. |

I totaly agree. I'm tired of this topic being chewed by chuckie every time I turn around, in game and especially in forums. But hey, I'll humor the guy if he keeps wanting to go at it. I'm patient.

I'm sure i've made the picture very clear. This would push more people to stay out of the forums than attract them. Yet, I'm pretty adimant about defending my possition on this.
I'll go one step further.... Chuckie, if it still bothers you, just put up a damn vote so this can be settled. Oh... An UNBIASED one would be best. I'll even do one for ya if you are really as clueless as you lead me to believe.
Some take humor out of this, and ironicly, I am one that finds a hell of alot of humor in this. It keeps me posting more from the pleasure of it all. Hell, I'm a happy guy, I like to laugh too. Im not the one pushing the button to keep bringing this up, but I'll definatly oblige... And still, it's getting old.
