Thanks...
What about the jumping around land grant, is that a bug or normal?
Also, can only one player get the wampus?

Also, are the events the same?  3 quakes, 2 pirates, 2 fires, etc?

Do you mean where you see the land-grant black square jump back a few spaces to claim a plot for another player, then resume? This is... well not exactly a bug but something we know about and plan to address. It's due to lag between players - another player claimed (2,4) and this message only just reached you when your game thinks we're on (5,4) so it has to 'unwind'. Like I say, we're aware of it.

Only one player at a time yes - there are two wampus each phase, one in each turn. So e.g. players 1/2/3 get to fight over 1 wampus in their turn, and then players 4/5 get to fight over another one.

If you bring up the main chat window (Enter) there is an "Events" button. Try it out...

My mistake, you need to click on the History button not Chat:

This shows you how many times each event has happened and could still happen... so you can easily check the total number of each allowed.

Ohhh. Thanks.
By the way, with all the criticism, I just wanted to reiterate my thanks for providing this FREE game for all of us.

Also, can you explain what "One Shot, Slot Machine" is?

This was asked a few times, we probably should have removed it already.

When we were developing the game we tried a few different things - so when you started a game you had a few game settings to choose from.

One of these was to let you choose if species were selected at the start of the game (one-shot) or if you could change species at the start of each round.

Another was to choose between the current land-grab mode where you have the 'slot' moving over all the tiles, and a version where you actually walk your avatars out onto the map to claim plots.

These alternative things are all disabled now, but we display the selected options in the lobby because that was never turned off!

You are willing to make these options you can turn on and off but not give us the choice between sequential and concurrent development?

They're not options you can turn on and off. They are things we tried out internally and then someone decided which one to use. Which I'm sure is exactly how the sequential Vs concurrent choice was made as well.
