Played a game last night      MWN-3100 (53.10)    In which several gltiches occured.  In round 3 there was no event at the end of the turn.  (I didn't think this was possible.)

Also the AI displayed very unusual behavior....The AI was very agressive on land auctions not once but twice spending so much on land that he could not afford a mule.  The last plot he paid 2500 when he had about 2700 total.....he would have spent more except i went down at end.  Actually seems like a better play for the AI, but i wasn't aware that the AI had been updated.

The AI also sold its crystite at $80 which is below the minimum amount it will usually go.

Not sure if it was just this one game that was "glitched" or if these changes are supposed to be there and I just missed the announcement.

In round 3 there was no event at the end of the turn.  (I didn't think this was possible.)

This is possible. For example if there is a sunspot activity and nobody has any energy, or if there is a planetary pest and nobody has any food exploitations. The same rules as the original Mule, events that do not apply to anyone will not happen.

Also the AI displayed very unusual behavior....

The AI's behaviour depends on what happens in the game and is also partially random. It can decide to do unusual stuff, that's normal. For example if there is a high risk of pirates it can decide to sell crystite for a low price. The AI has not been changed in any of the later updates though, except fixing the reset of assay results between games.

I was also in the game, infact I was the host. One other odd aspect: the game did not get recorded at all in the P.M. stats database, as far as I can tell. Even though it finished & rolled the end-of-game summary, the win did not record and there is no evidence that we ever played this game at all. Before I disconnected I even visited the lobby to see if the winning player's rank improved (it should have) but it did not. I waited a bit and disconnected. I do not remember if the "score being saved" message rolled or not, so perhaps the network ate my homework... in any case, Dan's initial description of events is accurate.

FWIW: This was the game http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=32087 that immediately preceeded the bizzaro game we're describing. Same host. Dunno if this helps any but perhaps the server recorded some of the game in question before whatever it was that caused the record to terminate.

Thanks!
