I joined a game today hosted by OzMo. Just as the game started my system shut down. I started back up and logged in. OzMo had a new game open and I joined in only to get kicked. I asked him why and he would only tell me that it bothered him. I think that I accidentaly hit my power button and that's what made my PC shut down and yet he continued to be a jerk about it.

What is your feelings about him? Have to had any trouble with him?

I can't say i really blame Ozmo in this situation.  Ozmo had no way of knowing that your problem wasn't going to happen again.  It is frustrating when you are a host and this happens.  Even if it happens in the first 3 rounds so it doesn't affect your host rating it will give the host an abandon if he restarts.  I have taken over half my abandons in situations just like this.  Typically if this happens to me now, i try to get someone else to host the next game.

Same here. Most my abandonments have come from network outages or drops. What I am saying is that my % of abandons to games played is about the same a some of the other players considered as "GOOD or RELIABLE" players. Given that, and the fact that I told him that that has never happened before (which it hasn't) he still chose to deny me. I just feel that he was acting on some other personal issue other than his concern about a player dropping out.

Just give him some time. As you keep playing in other games and your scoring gets more balanced, those abandoned games will become a small percentage of them. If after that he keeps kicking you out of his games, just blacklist him. Tongue And if another one is hosting and he joins, you can go throatcutter. >:3 Nya ha ha ha!

Like the Cat said - give it some time. Ozmo is probably worried about his abandon as well (WHY???)

As we all know - disconnects happen and they happen alot more often for new players - When I first joined the PM Community, I had over 40 abandons because I had faulty router and also bad cable - IT WAS A PAIN IN THE POSTERIOR because when I started playing, I could only finish 3 out of 5 games - the other two I would get a network disconnect - replaced my router - STILL HAD Problem, went wired (Drill hole in wall to run cable to garage - WIFE PISSED), and still had problem, FINALLY, when I replaced all cables with new - problem go away and now my abandons only happen if we re-start.

Only 3 players have more games in at Planet Mule.

I have only quit 1 game out of 450+

You are always welcome in my games Rag and I am sure that OzMo will see the light once he realizes that you are not a quitter - just give it some time.

HAPPY CANADIAN THANKGIVING TO ALL THE CAKNUCKLE HEADS
