1) STOP.
Why are you attempting to reduce my criticisms of you to "belittlement", when they included substantive examples of your poor behaviour?
Is it cowardice or stupidity?
2) "I will say nothing else about you no matter how much you belittle me. " a. So you have grown tired of the derogatory language you have previously thrown in my direction. Great, because I grew tired of it too. You mention "nothing else"....because, you know very well that is exactly what you have been doing. And to cap it off you end the statement with the notion that it is in fact me who has been belittling you all this time, You were making comment after comment about me in the lobby on more than one occasion, including making obnoxious claims to know I had quit specific games when I had not done so. You also implied that the majority of my disconnects were quits, when it isn't so. It was in the face of this provocation only that I finally began to reply to the nonsense that you were spewing. b. So scutter back , hide way, crawl back under which ever stone you wish to hide, you snake. Pretend not to have done anything wrong or to have not ever been involved with continually goading me.
3) No one has ever not left a game. And there is more than way to leave a game, including restarting. Now restarting is fine, if you have the consensus of all involved. If not, then it is no different to quitting. In fact, it is worse. Why? Well because forcibly restarting a game involves actively preventing others from continuing a game that they have already invested their time in. Not only is this something you have done, it is something you have encouraged others to do at the expense of players and to your own attempted personal benefit (i.e. Acavia example above). If you think asking others to restart a game like that isn't an appalling way to behave then you have more serious problems than Mule.
4) Personally I don't give grief to those who do wish to leave; it bothers me not so no one can call me a hypocrite here. You on the other hand have shown hypocrisy on many issues and if you insist that goading others is your right, then do not be surprised when the stones you throw at others suddenly start landing on your own lawn.

So he misrepresents discussions, encourages others to restart games at expense, trash talks others behind their backs, and is a general all round snooty presence,..but it is others who lack character.
Not him. Never him.
Please ignore everything you see him write, cos it doesn't count! Those are the rules, and if you disagree, he will repeat himself again and again.

They could so easily include a full copy of a discussion, but instead choose to only provide a partial account I wonder why someone would do that Here's the actual portion that was "missed"...not a crucial omission at all. Gohar: 1 more Gohar: Stage set for a speedy entrance ? : D Rhodan: i am back if you want to boot the quitter acavia and restart host4u: Final Results: host4u: 1:Gohar Money: $8925 Plots: 12 Assets: 2138 Total: 17063 host4u: 2:muleace Money: $6647 Plots: 11 Assets: 4567 Total: 16714 host4u: 3:Acavia Money: $9091 Plots: 9 Assets: 1914 Total: 15505 host4u: 4:jellyroger Money: $7419 Plots: 12 Assets: 2006 Total: 15425 Gohar: ^^ Good to see Rhodan's misplaced sense of arrogant self righteousness fall on death ears. Gohar: Left alone in the lobby with only his ego and left hand for company. Rhodan: Do i need to post some recent game logs were you quit? Gohar: Your inability to realise nuances is quite astounding,.but not surprising
As you may remember, it was previously misrepresented in the previous thread giving the impression that the discussion started without any justification. Aside from the misrepresentation, I wonder if anyone else's skin crawled when they read that disgusting attempt to get others to restart a game at the expense of another player. Like a dishevelled ex trying to serenade you from outside your house complete with obligatory can of half drunk spirit cleaner in hand. Or, if you prefer, simply a case of nauseating sleaziness compounded by complete inability to see or stay on point.

There does seem to be a good amount of volatility in the true rank ratings, which probably serves the purpose you mention to a certain extent. I think a lot more playees than we might imagine are not aware of them.

Hi SJ
I remember when I was new to Mule it took me a long time to figure out why in some rounds i was not able to sell my produce, The sneaky veterans at that time never explained what happened, but in those days everyone was much more civil and courteous and observed a gentlemanly code of silence so it was in keeping with mule culture so i don't mind.
Anyway, it does add an element of uncertainty, and fun. Few other better sense of schadenfreude than to block someone selling their 144 crystal. It rarely works of course as most people are aware of it, so when it is successful, it is quite funny in a way. But if we as experienced players allow it to happen to ourselves then only we are at fault.
There is therefore a question each player selling has to answer: Do they feel lucky?. Do they feel they can risk the possibility of not being able to sell at all, for the benefit of getting more money for less produce. Its a fun and interesting element to Mule, and I personally wouldn't want it to be taken away.
There was something once similar to this, but related to land auctions. In the not to distant past, people could run land up to such a price making it impossible for others to buy, and to no risk to themselves. That was taken away, and now unless you get back to the starting price, any "runner" can get caught out themselves. I think that was a beneficial change, this wouldn't be as even here there is risk to the "runner" in that he may accidentally buy without knowledge, and also, crucially, it is entirely in the sellers hands whether they sell at an offered price or not.

I used to play ZX81 against 2 bots a fair bit in the good old pre-bot era. He was very very good at them and would beat me as a result. Rather than be a sourpuss about it, I decided that I would simply try to get better at playing bots myself.
Related to this, early in my planet mule days I grew tired of following the mindset of some players with regard to AI, and decided that rather than waiting around endlessly for human only games, I would instead just start a game of mule, even if it meant there was going to be a bot. There are some who prefer only 4 humans. That is fine, and it is their prerogative. For me, it doesn't matter much. If you ask me, it actually seems quite a silly thing that anyone would even care about how, or with whom, others play.
That said, for clarity, I would like to make it clear that I think comparisons with CBASS are misleading, as he would use his own bots to boost his true rank score by fooling the computer into thinking he was playing against other humans, which is totally different to the mere playing of games with ordinary bots.
