C64: This is close, but a bit different...

aruffo: I'm disappointed that the differences between races seems to be only visual

aruffo: I mean, your Packer is supposed to be better at food production and use

C64: Seeing that they are permanent selections, you are probably right.

C64: Its one heck of a recreation though!

aruffo: Oh yes

aruffo: I never got the hang of Crystite when I was playing on the C64

C64: The biggest difference is smithore is more important in this version. It gets up to $230 often.

aruffo: so is there even a point to Crystite?

C64: Yeah, the Smithore wears out near the end.

C64: You need to do both somehow...lol

aruffo: hmmm

C64: Its a real balancing act to handle that stuff and not get in trouble with food/energy.

C64: And I've seen games where people dump enough smithore to keep it down in price. But usually it pops a couple times a game.

aruffo: the one game I've played so far, the winner killed on smithore

C64: yup....

aruffo: it looked a lot like a strategy breaker

C64: Usually you need to switch at some point though.

C64: I think it works. You don't see food/energy pop as much as in the c64 version though....once in a while, but not often and not for long

C64: Wow, I really caught a lull here...augh.
