Round 1 of 12

ffordesoon: Umm...

phfjeld: Space to pick a lot

ffordesoon: Where's the graphics...?

phfjeld: there : )

ffordesoon: I'm hearing the noises, but I see a black screen...?

phfjeld: oh, check the MULE forums quickly

ffordesoon: Okay.

ffordesoon: Any suggested thread?

phfjeld: Are you downloading anything?

phfjeld: Gently tap the RIGHT key

phfjeld: a bit more

phfjeld: nah, didn't work

phfjeld: check the 'SETTINGS' tab

ffordesoon: I am DLing something...

phfjeld: then PAUSE it

ffordesoon: Did that.

phfjeld: what OS are you on?

ffordesoon: Mac OS X.

ffordesoon: Leopard.

ffordesoon: 10.5

phfjeld: did you download the OS X-client?

ffordesoon: God, I hope so. Otherwise, this has all been a terrible mistake.

ffordesoon: :)

phfjeld: okay, here's the remedy. take a look BEHIND your monitor. grab a screwdriver or hammer and hit the piece of junk with all your force

phfjeld: it'll proboably work then, if not, just get another machine

ffordesoon: Ha!

ffordesoon: No, it's a laptop...

ffordesoon: You know what, I'm just gonna drop, sorry.

phfjeld: oh, then just insert a blank (empty) CD or DVD into the drive!!!

phfjeld: had the same problem yesterday

ffordesoon: What?

phfjeld: on my laptop

ffordesoon: Blank cd?

phfjeld: yah. not +R though, must be -R

phfjeld: also, where are you located?

ffordesoon: Alabama.

ffordesoon: Grabbing CD-R now.

phfjeld: great : )

phfjeld: oh, that explains EVERYTHING. you proboably need to move to a cooler place. chicago or something

phfjeld: on the serious side, though. if the CD has got a shiny bottom-side, try a piece of newspaper or something instead. the point is that the drive must be occupied due to a bug in the Mac-client

ffordesoon: Shut up. :)

ffordesoon: Oooooh.

ffordesoon: I can occupy it.

ffordesoon: BRB.

Round 2 of 12

ffordesoon: Oops.

ffordesoon: Okay, it's occupied.

ffordesoon: There's nothing being shown, though.

phfjeld: what did you put in it? couldn't get it to work with a shiny disk :S

ffordesoon: A DVD. Like a movie DVD.

ffordesoon: Occupied?

phfjeld: oh, that's shiny underneath, isn't it? try a piece of plain ol' paper or something

ffordesoon: *grins sheepishly*

phfjeld: haha, good luck : )
