Chuckie Chuck: Evidently if you build a custom skin with a different name from default, everyone else that joins your game has to have a skin with the same name.

Chuckie Chuck: It's complicated to write automated porting code into the game, I'm sure they will at some point, but it hasn't happened yet. Most programs have code to request a port to open automatically on demand, but simple programs, especially those that are not well funded, tend to be a little more limited

Chuckie Chuck: I have found that a lot of software related to streaming video also require manual porting. It does have some advantages, but a lot of major disadvantages too.

Chuckie Chuck: It's great if you are just going to use a designated PC on a LAN for a specific program as server, but if it's a program you would like to have run on any computer at any given time (like MULE for example) it's a pain.
Chuckie Chuck: If you want to play AI in training mode you don't even need a host to play local mode

Chuckie Chuck: I find a lot of first timers do it, it's smart to play training mode with AI for a while
Chuckie Chuck: Which can be done without even logging in

Chuckie Chuck: But it seems a lot of newbies that haven't played the 1983 original don't even enjoy playing enough to try to learn it anyways, try it once and never come back.

Chuckie Chuck: I saw a buddy playing this version a while back and I asked him how it played, and that was back at version 1.2.0 I think, maybe even 1.1.x I got home and tried it out a few days later, was up to v. 1.2.1 when I dl'd it.
