Raiste: mornin

kipley: Howdy

kipley: You want to wait for humans, or just go with computer AI?

Raiste: doesnt matter to me

Raiste: whatever you wanna do

kipley: Well, hardly anyone in the lobby... so...

Added computer player <A.L.A.N.>

Added computer player <D.A.N.>

Raiste: you too

Round 1 of 12

Round 2 of 12

Round 3 of 12

Raiste: so close =\

kipley: can't win 'em all

Round 4 of 12

kipley: yay!

Raiste: lol and lucky break

Round 5 of 12

Raiste: im not getting lucky at all with crystite =\

Raiste: son of a bitch

Raiste: =\

Round 6 of 12

Raiste: wow

Raiste: ive never been that unlucky with crystite

Round 7 of 12

Raiste: 5 sqaures with no crystite =\

kipley: crystite is arranged in "blooms" around the high crystite spots... so if there's a barren spot on the map, it's not unusual for it to extend several squares around it

Raiste: really

Raiste: i didnt know that

kipley: well, you got some crystite now!

Raiste: lol

Raiste: so are those spots around there going to have crystite now?

kipley: No... the asteroid just makes one square worth 4. But it does not affect the surrounding squares

Raiste: k

Raiste: thanks

Raiste: i had no clue about that

kipley: no problemo

kipley: The High Crystite plots are surrounded by 4 Medium crystite plots... and then those are surrounded by low crystite plots

Round 8 of 12

Round 9 of 12

kipley: $1500... that's about the most I've had to pay for a bad player event!

Raiste: lol

kipley: Good try with the mules

Raiste: sorry i was tryin to drive the price for smithore up

Raiste: lol

kipley: Going to be hard to spike the smithore price with the computer players not cooperating with you, but maybe you can do it

Round 10 of 12

Raiste: yep youre right

Raiste: there was no way to do it

Raiste: =\

Raiste: spoilage was going to kick in

kipley: Too much smithore being produced by the computers... and they never go along with the spiking strategy

kipley: live and learn

Raiste: yep =\

Raiste: holy hell

kipley: I'm beginning to think I have a chance of winning this game! ;-)

Raiste: lol

Round 11 of 12

kipley: sweet

Raiste: MOTHER FUCKER

Raiste: lol

Raiste: that woulda helped a lot if id know that

kipley: yep, one turn earlier would have rocked

kipley: It's really hard to spike smithore on turn 12, FYI

Raiste: youre right

Raiste: =\

kipley: You not only need to empty the mules out of the store, but you also need to free mules from a plot or two, to create some demand for mules (and therefore, smithore)

kipley: You can try it if you want, but I'll warn you, it won't likely go up in price much, since the computer knows there's no undeveloped plots needing mules

kipley: Which is the main reason smithore is generally the way to go in the mid-game, but crystite is usually king in the end-game

kipley: I'm just buying one energy, rest is yours

Round 12 of 12

Raiste: gg

kipley: yes, good game, Raiste.

kipley: It was a lot of fun. You seem to be catching on to a lot of the strategy pretty quickly

Raiste: heh thanks

kipley: Your only real mistake is staying in smithore too long... as smithore tends to be worth less in the end game. (Unless you've got good players all working together and no computer AI... but that's another story)

Raiste: lol

Raiste: if i had known about the crystite i woulda changed what i did as well

kipley: yep.
