Lee558: I'm serious about what I said yesterday regarding kicking those who quit when they think they are going to lose.
Lee558: Start kicking them when they are winning. Kick'em around round 10 and tell them 1st why they are being kicked.

Rolf: I don't think that sets a very good precedent
Rolf: let them be quitters
Rolf: and it will take 3 people, which sets up the vote starter to look silly when they don't get any backup
Lee558: Has to be unanimous to kick a viable player.
Rolf: I'm not saying it wouldn't feel good, briefly, to do that
Lee558: Still it makes a point that quitting is unacceptable
Rolf: but I am saying that I think the idea is sort of a non-starter
Rolf: slip, for example, quit twice yesterday, that may be enough data already
Rolf: I am pretty forgiving though
Lee558: I'd give it at least a three strikes rule.
Lee558: Or, the player threatens to quit if the game doesn't help them. Saw Boot do that once.
Rolf: If it was the same game, I think he did then quit shortly therafter
Lee558: Second they threaten to quit if the game say, doesn't sell a plot when they are money high, just go ahead and get rid of them.
Rolf: well if I may be frank, it will probably be a better game with the three of us and one bot than with someone who plans to quit sometime during the game
Lee558: I'm all for letting folks play however they will, even if they are trying to help another player, but leaving the game pisses me off.
Rolf: yeah I don't quit, though I have quit
Lee558: That is my point exactly Rolf. Play square or be treated like you treat others.
Rolf: agreed
Lee558: I don't quit even when I get stuck early and don't get to put a mule out until round 5 or 6! I screwed up, so it's up to me to fix it, not mess up the other players game.
Rolf: we both appear to match our words with our actions, if you look at our abandoned games numbers
