Rhodan: unfortunately its already dead. Its not fun to play someone who is going to quit when gets and event he doesnt like or knows he no longer as a chance to win

Lee558: I've not had any issues with Gohar quitting in the games I have played him

Rhodan: because you rarely put him in that position that he will quit in. Unlike when he plays me or other top players

Rhodan: i have beaten him many times but he would quit %25 percent of the time which ruins the game

Lee558: I'll play anyone. I'm here to play the game, not engage in arguments.

Rhodan: he is an instant quit on plot loss event or any event that he deems takes away his chance to win

Lee558: Well, from the last game you and I played Rhodan, you know that is not the case with me. It was round 5 or later before I was able to build an energy plot (my second plot buildout) and had no chance.

Lee558: If I start, I will finish unless I have a heart attack or something...

Rhodan: first round plot buy is risky especially someone like me who knows how make it hard for you to use that extra plot to catch up and win

Lee558: That's ok. I'll deal with it and come out ahead most games.

Lee558: You bought up all the energy on round one in that last game I'm talking about, but that was because I was day dreaming and slow off the mark.

Lee558: I'm going to pee while we wait. BRB.

Rhodan: yes i raise the price of mules. buy all the food and nrg forcing early round plot buyers to produce their own which most often does get you the price of ore or site does. It keeps you from getting mules out and using that extra plot to catch up and buy another plot before the next auction

Lee558: Yep, agreed. That's why 1st plot is river plot and second build out is energy. Third will usually be ore so if someone spikes it, I will still have the money to buy mules.

Rhodan: correct best strategy for 1st rd buy. Only drawback is increases chances of not getting mining plots or only ending up with 9 to your opponents 11 mining plots

Lee558: With luck, surveys will reveal location of high tite plots early and I'll be low man on the pole for the 1st rounds.

Lee558: Yes, having that river instead of something that can be mined is a disadvantage.

Rhodan: benefits of 1st rd buy, is first choice on plot selection, no bad events from being in last, good events, playing last in a turn so you can better choose what to produce

Lee558: With luck, I'll buy enough plots to still make at least 9 tites plots late in the game. Sometimes magic 12.

Rhodan: and that is the key word LUCK. the games random events can ruin your best strategy

Lee558: Just depends upon what everybody else is doing as well as the game events.

Lee558: Still a work in progess...

Rhodan: you hit 9 or 12 mining while everyone else only has 6 or less out than bam quake happens taking away your big score increase that round
