El Chapo: here's one thing that may clear up the port forwarding aspect:
El Chapo: Q: do you connect to the internet using a wi-fi network, or do you plug your computer's network port in via a cble?

El Chapo: if you connected your computer directly to the modem using an ethernet cable that would solve the port forwarding issue
