Leofwynn: Okay, finally figured out how to get the game to display at a size i can see stuff. LOL

Leofwynn: I'll just read my manga until it's time to play.

Leofwynn: Pretty good all things considered.

Leofwynn: Actually working on making a comic book.

Leofwynn: co-writing it with my nephew.

Leofwynn: We've got a plot outline for the first story arc, and the start of a script.

Leofwynn: I've been doing preliminary character sketches.

Leofwynn: we've found someone who we will contract as the inker and colorist when we get to that point.

Leofwynn: I did a prelim sketch of one of the leads and his romantic interest and my eldest kid, Ana, who uses Pippington for their art stuff, inked and colored it for me and did such a fantastic job that we're going to hire them for that job with the comic.

Leofwynn: I can do inking, though it isn't my strong point, and I find it nerve-wracking, and I suck as a colorist. (Unless I'm painting or using pastels, but not coloring line work).

Leofwynn: But Pippin likes inking - finds it calming - and is a fantastic colorist.

Leofwynn: Oops sorry, I'm rambling.

Leofwynn: but the resulting artwork from my sketch and their coloring, I'm going to put up on Red Bubble.

Leofwynn: Going to split any profit from that with Pippin and then keep some of the remainder aside to help fund the comic.

majicmule: im an artists too in my youth i did 50 oils

Leofwynn: Hoping to make more sketches and have them ink and color them.

Leofwynn: Cool Majic!

Leofwynn: I prefer acrylics because I can't deal with the fumes from the solvents for oils.

Leofwynn: My parents used to do photography, in the days before digital. They converted the half-bath we had off the kitchen into a darkroom (well, they had a system for putting up the darkroom stuff and then taking it down when done).
