trippt: a good way to start when you are learning is first round select a river plot an put food on it- all in the fist round- thenyou know you have food for the game. then second round choose a empty plot (ie plot without mountains) and put energy there. that sets you up for the whole game

trippt: so 1st plot food, second plot energy, 3rd plot smithore..keep building smithore until about half way through, change to cristie. but you will see as you go. smithore needs mountains- more moutains on a plot, the more productive it wil be.
