The title is from a short skit on Mad TV!  This is some random thoughts.

The original programmers made this game on the Atari as a labor of love. Days of testing and fine tuning.
Making the program in 2 parts because it was larger than the Atari memory available (48k).
48k is about half the size of an average jpeg. So someone make a jpeg of the Atari img plz!
The A.I. was limited from memory constraints and this version could (with some work), be much better.
At times, I compare the AI from both games and feel that the original was "less dumb".  Of course, having a better AI bot would change the "problem" with someone booting and the AI winning and adding to stats.

Some suggestions in the forum take away from the original masterpiece, such as taking out Lose a Plot or dropping a player when booted rather than continuing on with a bot.  The original game has been on the Top 100 games of all time for a reason.
The remake SHOULD try to mirror the original where possible. Having 4 high crystites instead of 3 in the original is one of the "good" changes to the program. Too much time for plot auctions radically changes the game strategy and needs fixed!
Changes were necessary to handle the lag issue from online play and could use fine tuning!  If 1 player has a high ping or choppy ping rates, it can cause a player to get the plot after the one they want because another player chooses the desired plot and there is no delay between plots.
Adding a short pause after any selection may help or making sure there is ALWAYS a pause.

Search for image of "chinese mule" for some clarity.  Please remember that Mules are mechanical not animal!
When you set one free, your don't end up with a free range mule. You get a dumb machine looking for work.

For your consideration :
Compare your life to MULE!  It can be enlightening.  If you are good at money management in the game, you are conservative with money.  If you get a "free willie" moment, your life is in turmoil and out of your control.  If late in the game, you have tons of extra energy and the player in last is way too far behind to be any threat, and you STILL wont sell just for that feeling of "screwing your neighbor", then you chase money way too hard in life.  If you care how good the colony does, then you are a considerate person, nice neighbor and have learned how to lose gracefully.

Go beyond the game!
Everything your believe, is true, or can be true, within the limits of your mind!
These are limits to be transcended!

Oh yeah!   1 more thing!   Lets find a audio chat program to use with this game. I want you to hear the echoes of my screams when I lose a super high crystite plot!
