can't login to game (forum works)

i'm new to planet mule and since i'm a fan of the classic game i wanted to give this one a try.
unfortunately i can't log into the game (says wrong password). strange, because logging into the forum works. i tried changing the password, still the same. could it be that the game doesn't like the umlaut in my account name?

any help would be appreciated

I've never seen another user logged in to the game with an umlaut in their name.  You may have something there.  Since noone else has chimed in, I'd suggest creating another login without it to see if it works.  At least then you would know if you can rule it out...

i created another login (mancomb), which works -.-
so it was the umlaut after all? anyway, thanks for helping.
one last thing: where can i delete my "koträppchen" account? i don't want to be registered with 2 email addresses.

Just found out apostrophes in the password do the same thing, I had to change my password in order to get in the game.
