Hi all,

After downloading and extracting M.U.L.E and while being logged into the planetmule.com/forum with my username and password, my computer fails to launch the game when double clicking on the mule.exe icon.

The RuntimeException reads:
"com.tuborilla.mule.MuleException: javax.imageio.IIOException: Can't get input stream from URL!"

So I am not able to get to the log-in screen to choose either local or network game.

Using an Eee PC Netbook:
XP SP3 Home Edition
Intel Atom processor N270
1.6ghz 1.99gb RAM
Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset
Artheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm excited to play this game I loved on my C64.
Thanks,
DeLang

Did you extract the files?

Extract the folder and place it in the root directory of your hard drive (My Computer/C:/mule_windows_1.2.3) to rule out any path issues.

I can run the game without an Internet connection so I don't think it has anything to do with a URL on the internet but rather one in your system.

Maybe if you have the game within an exotic folder the path gets mangled, just a shot in the dark but I hope it helps... we always need more meat afterall!

If you haven't extracted the files from the game's zip archive please do so and put them in a directory of your choice.

If the problem still occurs please reply to this post and attach the log files found in the data directory where you have extracted the game files. The logs are called log.txt and log_init.txt, it's best if you could attach both files.

Thanks for the report.
