My Messages is ugly and doesnt have enough functions

When people send me private messages they all show up as what looks like a single thread  on one page, as opposed to a list of topics like in the regular forum.  Managing the messages in there is a painful task.  Also, I don't seem to have a "Sent Items".  Most forums let you see what you've sent out.  I find the absence of such a feature to be quite inconvenient.

I haven't sent or received any PM's here yet. But under "My Messages" I have an "Outbox", which sounds pretty much like a "Sent Items" feature to me.

The only problem is that it doesn't show any sent items in it..... even after I just send a message, there is nothing in it.  Not sure what the purpose of the Outbox is.

There is an option to click to save messages in the outbox, by default it is off (I think it should be on, I often forget to turn it on, it's annoying when you can't look to see what you sent.)
