graphics stuttering
«

I am using Windows 7 ultimate, nvidia drivers. Sometimes the game will start to stutter, and it will not go away. It is not clear why this starts happening. The effect looks like about every ~1 second, the frames will freeze for maybe 1/10 second, and then skip ahead. I have looked for some other application that might be causing this but it seems to be something with windows because I can't make it go away.

Same here. Graphics are stuttering throughout the entire game on my machine (I'm using Windows XP). It's not game shattering, although it is somewhat annoying.

Does this happen to you in training mode with no other human players?

I have the same issue. Lenovo T400 laptop with ATI graphics (Radeon Mobility HD 3400)
Happens in training mode. Never played a regular game, nor would I with this handicap. I'm glad I played one game on 1.1 yesterday before upgrading, so I could see it how its supposed to be!
The status bar claims an FPS of 3. Now the motion looks a lot smoother than that, but on average with the stuttering it could very well come out to about 3 a second...

This problem does not happen on my computer. I am also running Windows XP with a GeForce 8800 GTS

The only place I see a tiny bit of stuttering is on the score screen when the planeteers are walkign across the bottom, otherwise none...

Same here. 1.2 stutters. WinXP machine w/ up to date nvidia drivers. Played around with 1.2 on training mode and could barely get out of the store. 1.1 works fine on my PC.

Updated my video driver and it still stutters.
I've been playing MULE actively since '85 and I can't make heads or tails out of this.
Yet I found that if I turn the sound off, it's much better than with it on.
