I think it would be an excellent feature if you had to pay to assay. Maybe $100.

I don't know, I think that would deviate from the original too much. Maybe a good idea for PM2?  If extra challenges are desired in PM1 - what if it went back to the original version, where you had to go back to the store to get your assay results?
