Hi, i want play off-line with only AI players, MULE haven't save game option and I not all have time for play all round at one time. I think about instal Virtual PC with Windows XP, next install on it MULE and when cant play more time, close virtual PC with save state option. Next time when I want continue game, start this virtual PC and can continue game play.
Unfortunately when I install mule on vpc and start it, i get message “Failed to initialise LWJGL Display“, on vpc can't change display driver, it is only  "VM additions S3 Trio 32/64" and is unchangable.
Do you can help me ?
Is possible play on Virtual PC, or is any tool for savegame when local play ?
regards

You need to use virtualbox instead.

goto virtualbox.com and download it install windows on it, you will need to enable the 3d graphics mode as well.

Do you tested it ?
I have installed virtualbox, with installed on it mule, enabled 3D. and get this message as under MS VirtualPC.
Is worse than as on VirtualPC, because have usb mouse and when i capture mouse, I can't release mouse cursor with right-ctrl key, and need logout or restart PC with use only keyboard.

If any have good solution please write it, I more year back played on atari xl in orginal mule game, and want play now :-)
thank you, regards and sorry for my English

I found solution of my problem, it is vmware Player 3.1.4. Under this virtual machine mule work correctly, and I can suspend machine with save state working mule game, and start suspended machine and continue game.
I tested it on VirtualPC and VirtualBox without success, only vmware player work with mule.
It is free for registered users, you can download it from:

Both bots run in virtualbox virtual machines.

You need to install the guest addons to allow mouse conrol and 3d support

It does work.
