... I have been involved in several other projects similar to planet mule as far as trying to come up with fair leaderboard systems, and everyone (including me) always assume that implementing a fair system is easier than it actually is.

I have been near the top of several xbox leaderboards that use the TS system ...

What do you play? What do you like? What do you recommend?

Well Mule has stolen me away from poker as of late.  We need to start gambling on Mule Tongue

My friend has a site also www.iohelix.net and has been programming games that we request.  Right now He has Risk, Chess, Battleship, Penta, Quarto, and Hunt the Wumpus.  If you are interested in joining tell him Dynadan sent you.  (I think he closed open registration because we were getting too many randoms from wikipedia.)

My favorite old school game (besides Mule) is called netacquire....it is an online p2p (much like mule) of a board game that uses tiles and that was originally published in 1962.  It has a very good mix of luck/skill/strategy much like our beloved Mule.

I have also climbed the leaderboards on Halo3, Call of Duty 4, and Absolutely love Civilization Revolution (However we discovered the ultimate civ/strategy and ruined the game.  I Quit playing riding a 100 game winning streak in free-for-all matches.)  Of all the above games Civ Rev is probably the game that compares best to Mule.  I.e. Good mix of Luck/Skill/Strategy and fairly quick gameplay with most games lasting less than 90 minutes.

I've recently stopped playing a game called Starfleet Commander. I found it through facebook, but its a stand-a-lone that doesn't require facebook to play. It's a multiplayer game of space combat with colonizing, technology, building up, etc.

I played for about a year and then sold my account. Was quite happy to get over $400 for a game that is free. The game developers have no problems with people selling their accounts. My wife also sold her account for $320 but she is still enamored with the game and still plays.

I've moved on to a game called Empire Universe 2. Similar to the above, but in my opinion much more diverse and intricate. Only been playing it about a month
