I wonder if Admin has actually compiled all the forum complaints about our 1 man quartet? (Akire1 and his smurfs)

I keep finding more threads that point to him as a problem.  (Case in point, I hadn't noticed this one before, and I'm always scanning the forums)

Those look like my emails Smiley

We in the Planet MULE team think that even if some players have bad sportsmanship and win games by exploiting issues in the system, that doesn't make it right to harass them. We'd like this to be a friendly place and more bad behavior is not the right way to counter existing bad behavior. Try to stay above their level and be rational.

We'd want to make the game system in a way so that players don't gain anything from bad sportsmanship. The hosting scores are at least one step closer to that. Improving the system is the only sustainable way of countering these issues.

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately sometimes people show their true nature online, and it isn't pretty. It just makes me sad that this kind of behavior spills over into Planet MULE.

When I have bad games (like my last one) I just find myself wondering, what's the point of acting like this? Do these people want to ruin the community? Are they trying to drive people away so Planet MULE will die off? Or do they actually believe that winning an online game, especially this one, is so important that are willing to hurt others in the process? I just don't get it.

My older brother and uncle are like this in games around the c64, I have grown a thick skin over the years and now I generally just tell them straight out to "suck it".  Its just part of their strategy and if you let them get under your skin they win and it has worked so all the power to them really... remember whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
