i just played my first game, incidental against someone in the top three, and i was wondering if it was impolite to buy up all the resources so that your opponent cant produce in an last ditch attempt to win.

Energy plots don't require any resources to produce, and everything else requires energy... It's not the other players responsibility to make sure you have what you need.. it's yours  Roll Eyes

It might be impolite but it is required in games I play!

It's what makes Mule keep on ticking... especially in four player games.  Learn to plan and play accordingly and the slight will not hurt so much.

Seriously, if I didn't do it and had the opportunity, my regular group would tease me mercilessly.  Hope to tease ya sometime, welcome to Mule.

Technically, you need food to add anything you are not already producing, including food. So, if you can starve someone...
