i have had this java error for about a week,and have tried all the fixes reinstall java and the game to no luck.  this problem has been written up in the old bugs 1.0 i think by a few members, however it seems this new patch has cleared up the problem for me.  thanks support--time to go play....

I'm glad it works. I don't know what the cause is but I suspect it is related to the sound system improvement.
