Not sure how you guys are managing bug reporting/tracking behind the scenes (I assume you have additional software besides the bug reporting forum posts... right? :/ ) but if that's still an evolving thing, try looking at JIRA -- we bought a license for a small team, 10 users for $10/year.
MongoDB and
Apache are using JIRA and exposing some of their database to outside users for bug reporting. I've contributed a few bug reports to MongoDB and it's been very helpful to see what's going on for the issues I reported.
