November, normally a quiet month is set for some exciting action. Mid-month we will be hosting a 5 game series of the 2016 Invitational championships. Muelgenics, Gohar, Sir Ron and Motorman. Rhodan will wait in the wings if one of the participants can't make it. Rarely have we seen such titans clash so closely together.

This will be a hotly fought contest. Vote now for your favourite! Everyone who votes may receive entry into a raffle for an authentic Nordel branded piss jug. The organizers are still trying to get Nordel to come on board as official commentator for the series to give his deep insights into the game.

You won't want to miss this!

Okay, so I get Motorman -- for his renowned playing skills, and Sir Ron -- for his legendary history on Planet Mule, and even Muleugenics -- for controversy and to increase viewer interest.  But Gohar??  Seriously??? Huh  Not only is his play a step down from top-notch, once he quits round 3 after an unfortunate event, the game will cease to be interesting all together.  Clearly, Rhodan should have his spot.  Only then will you have a match-up guaranteed to clear-out Nordel's vast inventory of piss jugs.

It's great to see hype for this event building so early.

Yes, you are correct that on the surface Rhodan would seem a far better fit than Gohar. There are a few reasons though: First, the hardest contestant to arrange was Motorman, and he was a no go with Rhodan after their flirtatious scandals earlier in the year. Gohar brings in the U.K. crowd. It brings in some old storylines: Gohar and Sir Ron play the same style and fish in the same waters so folks will want to know who reigns supreme between them as a sub-story. Gohar and Mule obviously have an antagonistic history which is sure to mesmerize viewers as it continues to unfold. Finally, the whole event gains a little notoriety from having Rhodan excluded.

Yes, Gohar is the long-shot here. I think if he plays with clinical, medical precision, and stays out of the fray he has a shot. With odds of 10-1 could be a great pay off for those inclined to place a little wager in Vegas on this.

For the record his 3rd round quits after bad events are mere coincidence. The man is an esteemed British professional who is tasked with saving the lives of the bloated brits after they've imbibed barrels of beer.

Motorman might be the favourite, but is also the least stable emotionally. If Mule can use his skillful dialogue to set him against the others he may not be able to concentrate on the game.

Sir Ron is probably the most efficient, having finely honed his style against an array of bots and novice players. If the events fall the right way, don't count him out.

Mule, clearly a draw for the crowds for his larger than life personality here on the mule ciricuit has the advantage of adaptability. Given his take on all opponents mantra he is most able to react to unforeseen circumstances and go for the late game swoop in victory.

It's going to be exciting folks. Motorman is 95% committed, he has to still work out some scheduling conflicts. While Rhodan could certainly replace him, sponsors are worried about the impact of two zombies in the match for spectators.

It should be Rhodan,  Alpen, Mainstream and Mute (if you can track them down). They all play a more technically sound game whereas I just rely on a priori knowledge of player tendencies which only works in a small community.

I do find it amusing that a man who doesn't even play Mule and who just lurks in these forums in an attempt to antagonize others while dreaming up fake tournaments would comment on someone else's emotional stability.

This tournament isn't fake. If you don't show up your name will be changed from Motorman to 'the forfeiter'.
