The Grid... now being compared to the MULE...

You decide!

Quote from Indie Games: "The Grid is the sort of game I haven't played in over 10 years. It is a text-only strategy multiplayer game you play by actually typing in commands and fantasizing you are logged in a BBS. It does feel quite a bit like a boardgame and generally has you capturing squares, building farms, hiring wizards, stealing from your neighbors, inciting revolutions, forming alliances and even attempting to bless everyone, while fighting to gather all the resources a powerful master of the grid would need.

Fun eh? Well, it is, but it sure isn't the simplest game to master and, were it not for some incredibly patient and kind players, I'd still be struggling with it. Not that I'm not struggling now, but, at the very least, I do have a vague idea of what I should be doing and am even forming some sort of strategy I believe. Great times ahead!"

'Great times ahead'

I suppose we have different expectations of a great time. I doubt Grid will get the dopamine flowing for most people.

It's conclusive: The Nordel Fan club has grown to be even bigger than smash hit video games like the "Grid'

By the way, what is the next big game this group is working on: MSDOS based air-traffic controller?

The marketing on the back of the box:

'Imagine it is the early 80's and you are a newly hired scab after Reagan fires all the air traffic controllers. You have no training, you are working for minimum wage keeping america's skies safe. All you have in front of you is a black screen with blinking green dots. You've never had fun like this before. Compete with your friends online to see who can safely land the most green dots.'

I dont know why River Phoenix was doing speedballs when he could have just been playing The Grid, a visceral experience like no other. Maybe back in his day the technology wasnt there for such high fallutin graphics.
