Screen Flickering in Linux: Unplayable
«

The game is literally unplayable as there is too much screen flickering. The Planet Mule screen just flickers I can hardly bear to look at it for a minute.
Running the 1.0 version on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 64-bit.
The Sun JRE installed version is: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.1-b02, mixed mode)
I have an ATI card with the latest FGLRX drivers installed from the Ubuntu repository, and 3D is active and I can play other 3D and OpenGL games just fine.
