OK, should have read the FAQ first.

EDIT:
OK, so I'm screwed anyway. I've got a 5 year old hardware with onboard graphic chip which is announced as S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR (Microsoft Corporation) - ProSavage DDR (420, 430) - and ...

There's no more recent driver available  Cry

Any option left for me apart from buying a new board?

Your graphics hardware must support OpenGL to be able to run Planet Mule. If it doesn't then it's unfortunately not possible to run the game on your computer. Are you able to run any other games and in that case which games?

Well, I'm not much of a gamer (at least apart from my old but still working C-64  Wink ). I'm able to run Dwarf Fortress which uses OpenGL as far as I know.

The 2 other games that I have installed would be Civilization 2 and the FreeCiv-Client - both working with fine graphics.

I checked my graphic card and driver again. If I can believe my OS I've got the latest available driver installed which is dated from 2008-04-14.

Could it be possible that a 5 year old onboard chip doesn't support OpenGL?

If you can run Dwarf Fortress you have OpenGL support. We will investigate this and see if we can make Planet Mule work with your hardware.
