During the energy auction, if you let any of the players get to the buy rate of the town, you can not go up and buy energy at this price. You will have to wait for the player to sell all energy to the town, let all other players get down to the town while the first one was selling, and see all of it sold to the city before having a chance to buy at town max price.

If players have started selling to the store it's not possible to interrupt them. You must decide whether you want to buy or not before players start selling to the store. If a seller sees that a buyer is trying to get up and trade she can pull back to stop trading to the store and then go down to start a trade with that player.

In case I misunderstood the problem please reply and explain it in more detail.

In original auctions only one player sells at a time (in a reversed ranking order if they reach the transaction line at the same time) so you could buy from the seller following the one that is selling when you reach the line.
