Good day, thank you all for your work on this game. The fast play in V 1.4 looks excellent, and I was hoping to play with my kids.

However we play it seems orange or orange and blue go out of sync in the buying phase, and are unable to buy or sell. Our main builds are using Pop OS, however we also tried using the wine version to see if that would solve things. We have tried different hosts, and we have tried running the server version. In every case we use direct IP connections over a LAN.

We have an old 1.3.6 version, however it has an input bug on linux so you cannot push J to join, and you  cannot reconfigure that, and it applies both to the Linux native and WINE version. I know some older versions worked with minimal distortion (usually just text bugs) but it seems I haven't saved them.

Is there anything else we could try to get the newest version to stay in sync?

Thanks for the report! We haven’t encountered this issue ourselves and haven’t been able to reproduce it on Windows, macOS, or Linux so far.

From your description it does sound like a synchronization issue. Since we can’t currently reproduce it, any additional details would be very helpful, for example player count, whether fast play is enabled, and it would be nice if you could share the logs (logs.txt) from the host and affected clients.
The fact that we haven’t seen this on our test systems suggests it may be environment or configuration-specific, which unfortunately also makes it harder to track down without more information. We’re happy to look into it further if we can narrow down the conditions.

Do you experience the same issue if you play on one of our dedicated servers?

Thank you for the reply!

We have tried fast play and regular, it seems to be the same.

Seems fine in 2 player.

We will try on the dedicated server next week.

Unfortunately the log file isn't uploading via attachments, can text dump it if you want.
